Nuovi spazi della memoria. Due progetti per la Resistenza e la Liberazione a Milano, Alessandro Menini e Marco Mazzola (POLMI APR2015).

Come allora il progetto per la memoria tenere vivo il ricordo e costruire identità e futuri più consapevoli del proprio passato? È possibile andare oltre le forme della commemorazione classica che sembrano avere perso oggi molta della loro efficacia? Questa tesi prova a rispondere a tali domande analizzando il caso studio della memoria della Resistenza e della Liberazione a Milano, fenomeni complessi la cui eredità è ancora oggi combattuta e irrisolta (web: MI4345).

REcall WS3: Rome, 8-14 SEP 2013

Research by design activity aimed at envisioning projects in consistency with the issues pointed out in the REcall-project Call. Two-days visits to the case-study sites will provide direct knowledge of the project areas and identification of specific requirements suggested by the hosting institutions. The workshop activities will comprise teamwork, conferences, seminars, lectures and communications from local administration.

The Venice workshop has for REcall a double challenge: is the occasion for launching officially (and in public) the project and also to test the quality and the quantity of its research queries. But the choice of Venice is not by chance, but a carefully elaborated decision connected to the specific concept behind the fore coming 13th Architecture Biennale titled ‘Common Ground’.
