Gli scheletri urbani e le loro posizioni periferiche diventano, contenitori dettati dall’utilizzo di una “ospitalità temporanea”.
Questo termine non deve, esclusivamente, riguardare l’idea di alloggio per artisti a breve o a lunga permanenza ma deve saper mutare per poter ospitare, a seconda degli eventi che nascono dalla metropoli milanese, diverse attività e persone. Un museo Civico e in-progress dell’Arte Contemporanea a Milano.
Gli scheletri, in questo modo, diventano possibilità già nate ma mai cresciute per soddisfare temporaneamente le lacune della città e i suoi errori.

L’associazione Cantieri Isola e Precare.it con multiplicity.lab – DiAP, Politecnico di Milano e in collaborazione con NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) e Milano Metropoli Agenzia di Sviluppo hanno organizzato un workshop (nell’edificio nr. 1) per indagare e ripensare alcuni immobili e spazi aperti in abbandono a Sesto San Giovanni attraverso strategie e tattiche d’intervento temporaneo.

Friday April the 3rd at ARTESIS in Antwerp there has been the presentation of ADSL2009 Workshop [SERENDIPITY] products: 12 teams have presented the work developed during the week. Tutors and students were very committed and the results also of interest.

TaorminaLand is an International Workshop that took place in Taormina and Giardini Naxos, Sicily, between the 26th of August and the 10th of September 2006, organised by the AIP, research laboratory for Architecture, Infrastructure and Landscape, part of the DIAP (Architecture and Planning Department of Politecnico di Milano). We publish here ‘Profanazioni’, the proposal of one of the participant groups that featured Caroline Notari, Enrico Forestieri, Margherita Parati, Irene Avino, Tommaso Caspani, Luciano Cadeddu, Diego Cea, Giampaolo Celada, Afro Carpentieri and Giuliana Posocco as students, Patrizia Scrugli and Gennaro Postiglione as tutors.

The Diploma work faces the problematic seam of the hurts present in the historical city plan, places where the historical stratifications, the remains and the memories of the urban fabric emerge and mix. Milano stands out as an emblematic city of a common European situation, because from the bombing of the II world war, to the intense today building activity, the city brings continuously to light hidden memories and remains, which reveal the layered character of the past an point out the remains non selective but synchronic value.
