“Dialoghi” è un’occasione per parlare di architettura a partire da ricerche che provengono da altri saperi.
Ospite di questo seminario è Telmo Pievani, professore associato di Filosofia della Scienza presso la Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione dell’Università degli studi di Milano-Bicocca. Pievani è autore di molti testi dedicati al tema dell’evoluzione, l’ultimo “La vita inaspettata” tratta dell’imprevedibilità della vicenda biologica. Il testo è un’ottima occasione per esplorare il problema delle “serie” e delle “sequenze” formali.
Mutazioni, selezioni, derive genetiche, migrazioni, schemi evolutivi sono alcuni dei termini che ricorrono nel testo e si offrono al confronto con la cultura architettonica.
On Wednesday 11th January, Gennaro Postiglione will be at Royal College of Art in London: he has been selected – with some others – for an interview for the post as Head of the Interior Programme at RCA/School of Architecture, according plans of the new appointed Dean, Professor Alex de Rijke.

L’associazione Cantieri Isola e Precare.it con multiplicity.lab – DiAP, Politecnico di Milano e in collaborazione con NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) e Milano Metropoli Agenzia di Sviluppo hanno organizzato un workshop (nell’edificio nr. 1) per indagare e ripensare alcuni immobili e spazi aperti in abbandono a Sesto San Giovanni attraverso strategie e tattiche d’intervento temporaneo.

‘The Antwerp Design Seminars & Lectures’ are an international event which takes place each year at the College of Design Sciences. Its aim is to stimulate cross boundary thinking in design and to familiarize students with an interdisciplinary approach towards design problems.

Friday April the 3rd at ARTESIS in Antwerp there has been the presentation of ADSL2009 Workshop [SERENDIPITY] products: 12 teams have presented the work developed during the week. Tutors and students were very committed and the results also of interest.

Finally, October the 2nd (10.00 o’clock in Spazio mostre), students of Lab-int’09 will present their semester work. Together with all teaching Staff (proff. Lorenzo Bini, Francesco Dolce, Gennaro Postiglione), the esternal invited critics are Ing. Degani (ATM), Ing. Crapanzano (MM), prof. Forino (Politecnico di Milano), prof. Pogliani (Politecnico di Milano), prof. Porcaro (Politecnico di Milano).

GEOGRAFIE DELL’ABBANDONO è un workshop di ricerca “non-concentrato”: 10 giorni sparsi lungo il semestre, da ottobre 2009 a marzo 2010, per un totale di ca 60 ore (circa 2 incontri al mese) e dal valore di 4 CfU (riconosciuti agli studenti della Facoltà di Architettura e Società).

Finally we are able to present all the intermediate work delivered by lab-int’09 students’ (design studio on interior architecture) during the Spring Semester. The dead line for final work presentation is planned for Friday 02 October in connection with a one-week exhibition.

Workshop di indagine territoria 13 al 20 settembre 2009/Gibellina
Il Workshop ha come obiettivo la realizzazione di un atlante che contenga una lettura attualizzata e trasversale della Valle del Belice, quarant’anni dopo il terremoto del 1968.
Sarà un lavoro interdisciplinare aperto a fotografi, architetti, geografi, studenti universitari, artisti e a tutti coloro che abbiano un interesse specifico per il tema e le sue possibili rappresentazioni.
