CERAMIC FUTURES Workshop
April 25th, 2014Ceramic Futures: From Poetry to Science Fiction is a project organized by Cersaie. For its 2nd edition, the project is held in collaboration with Accademia delle Belle Arti di Bologna, École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD), ELISAVA and Politecnico di Milano.
Deadline for application is 25th april 2014.
Cersaie values young talents as the next generation of leading thinkers and innovators. With this in mind, it commissioned a project to Stefano Mirti to challenge 4 groups of young design students to work together during May and June 2014.
Since the schools are in different cities/countries, the interactions between students, tutors and professors will take place on social media and will be accessible to the public. The project combines the traditional techniques of design with a dedicated online platform connected to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The participants will actively observe, comment, ask questions and interact in a Google+ community.
Digicult will work alongside the students and the team to document the project for media exposure.
CF2 will start 19th of May and end 7th July 2014.
Participation to the workshop is free and will grant 4 CFU.
Ceramic futures is open to all polimi students, both bachelor and master degrees.
