UP-DATING THE POST [090919]
We have to aknowledge Abitare has taken in consideration our critics and has removed completely the post (there is nothing linked any more) we mention in text belowe. Abitare and his Director, Stefano Boeri, have shown a great sense of responsability. We are really thankfull for this.
Today Abitare has published the post of the Grand Opening of a very prestigious building by Stefano Boeri Architetti (the practice run by Abitare’s Director). Read after the break the comment that Gennaro Postiglione managed to post on Abitare’s site.
E’ veramente un peccato che una interessante e ricca rivista on-line come questa si abbassi al cortocircuito di pubblicare un post dedicato ad un’opera del suo direttore. Il complesso è imponente e legato anche a importanti eventi, nel mondo della pubblicistica non sarebbero mancati testate desiderose di pubblicarlo.
Perché dunque spingersi così avanti dando l’impressione di trasformare la rivista in un organo di comunicazione interna?
E poi: ma davvero erano indispensabili alla comprensione del progetto e alla descrizione della giornata tutti quei primi piani dei due Primi Ministri?
Propongo una petizione ai lettori del sito per trasformare il post in una news: due righe e una foto.

Furthermore we find a little bit ‘weird’ to publish many photographs that (at least Architecture wise) don’t add anything to the complete articles that were posted more than two months ago by the same Abitare and then (just few hours later) by ArchDaily and Dezeen, probably the 2 most credited Architecture blogs in the World.
