TRANSITION SPACES – Riqualification of metro stations in the Milan underground system

Questo lavoro è un progetto collettivo sviluppato all’interno del Laboratorio di Interni del Politecnico di Milano nell’anno accademico 2001–2002. Il progetto esplora temi e pratiche del design degli interni applicati al contesto milanese, concentrandosi sulla capacità dello spazio di accogliere nuovi usi, nuove configurazioni e nuove relazioni tra abitare e quotidianità. L’obiettivo principale è interpretare Milano attraverso interventi che ridefiniscono il rapporto tra architettura, vita urbana e ambienti interiori.

This work is a collective studio project developed within the Interior Design Laboratory at the Politecnico di Milano during the 2001–2002 academic year. The project investigates themes and practices of interior design applied to the Milanese context, focusing on how spaces can accommodate new uses, new configurations, and new relationships between living and everyday life. The aim is to reinterpret Milan through interventions that redefine the relationship between architecture, urban life and interior environments.
